About the cliient

After coming across my work for Aro (also done with Whiteboard), Venture Capitalist Rudy Cline-Thomas knew he wanted to work with us on his firm's website. Cline-Thomas has a knack for investing early in successful companies and for his partnership with athletes like Steph Curry and Andre Iguodala through Athletes First and his ownership of Leeds United.

What we did

Cline-Thomas has a special passion for fine art and, in particular, for the work of Kerry James Marshall who inspired the firm's name: MASTRY. We wanted to infuse the idea of fine art by layering ink and brush textures into a simple aesthetic. To add a sense of sophistication to the site we used animated typography, smooth scrolling, and sticky hover states.
